MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Peter Dennis Mauritz, 61, of Milford, so beloved by his large and extended family and friends, died unexpectedly on June 4, 2021, with his Life Partner, Marie Diven, and children, Nick, Tim and Kaitlyn, by his side.
Born in Bridgeport on November 15, 1959, the son of Nancy (Haushill) and the late Richard Mauritz, he grew up in Trumbull and Fairfield, attending St. Catherine of Siena and Fairfield Preparatory Schools, where his love of sports fueled a football career playing both in high school and later at Bucknell University.
A Defensive Tackle on Bucknell s Football Team, he long held a top spot for career sacks, and graduated with his Civil Engineering Degree in 1981.

MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) James Vincent Demo, 82, of Milford, beloved husband of 60 years to the late Dorothy Josephine Demo, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2021 at home with his children by his side.
James was 19 when he met Dorothy at a Sunday night dance at the Ascension Church in Flushing, Queens. Immediately smitten, he proposed a date to pick her up in his brand-new car - a gold 1957 Chevy that he was picking up the following week.
Whether it was the car, or his beautiful blue eyes, a true love affair with Dorothy began that would span over six decades. They married in 1961, ultimately settling in Kings Park, NY.

STRATFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Yvette Johnson-Parker, 55 of Stratford, CT left her earthly, loving family and friends on January 24, 2021.
Yvette was born on March 20, 1965 in Stamford, CT where she continued to reside with her family during her formative years. She moved to Stratford, CT more than 20 years ago where she has resided with her husband, Brian Parker.
In this home they worked together to care for their children and build their lives. Yvette will be greatly missed by Brian, her mother Fredena Johnson and her beloved children Jelan Johnson and Robert Parker. Jelan and Robert were her greatest accomplishment, which brought her such pride and joy. She also leaves behind her stepchildren Bryan and Kiara Parker along with her step grandchildren Kamden and Kamora.

MILFORD, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Peter David Walukiewicz, 58, of Torrington, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 from Covid-19 complications.
Born on March 29, 1962 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Joseph Peter and Rita (Lipiec) Walukiewicz and he was raised in Milford.
Peter graduated Platt Technical High School (Electrical), Class of 1980. An avid movie lover, (particularly of b-movies which were only known to Peter and his brother, Joseph) he eagerly started a career as a projectionist at Showcase Cinemas in Orange, a position which expanded to several other theaters over the years.
