On April 8, there will be a total solar eclipse in the Tri-State. Many communities will see it, but which ones will be closest to the middle of the path? According to NASA, the total solar eclipse will be visible along a narrow track stretching from Texas to Maine on April 8. It will be the last total solar eclipse visible from the contiguous United States until 2044. A partial eclipse will be visible throughout all 48 contiguous U.S. states. As for the Tri-State, most of the area will be impacted in some way by this event. NASA says the table below provides the time that totality begins in some U.S. cities.
