It slammed into the embarcadero road overpass on southbound 101 at about 10 50 last night. Chp says the driver dropped off his load at the construction project, just up a little ways here on 101, and investigators say the most likely scenario is the driver just forgot to put down that bed and it crashed into the overpass, ripping it off the truck. Officers say he was taken to the hospital to be checked out for a possible broken nose. Crews are waiting on a Structural Engineer from caltrans to arrive on the scene from sacramento.
