James cameron was 16 at the time, was supposed to be the third person hanging from the tree. But he miraculously survived the lynching. His two friends abe and tommy, it was like 18 and 19 years old, they were killed that day. By mob. Between ten and 50000 angry white people. This was actually in North Central indiana.
