The driver of a pickup truck got off the highway and pulled over after hearing a pop and found a hole in the back window. The call came in, in oakland a little more than an hour and a half ago. And were live in oakland with more on this story. Sergio . Reporter there is a pretty large area that has been cordoned off around this crime scene. Im going to step aside here. You can probably see in the distance a cluster of police lights. Thats where we believe the investigation of this shooting at a Police Officer is focused right now. Lets go through some of the basics. That officer was shot at, but we are told that she was not hit by that gunfire. However, she was injured. We do not know how she was injured, if she was not hit by that gunfire.
