STATE FSA OFFICES STILL OPEN

Olney, IL, USA / WSEI Freedom 92.9 FM | The Best Country in America Mar 8, 2021 8:20 AM (SPRINGFIELD) A reminder that all Illinois Farm Service Agency (FSA) county offices are still open for business, however the offices are limited to employees only. Farmers wishing to conduct business with their local county FSA office should set up an appointment via phone or email.State FSA officials say the offices have some additional resources at their disposal to collect signatures digitally, plus more. FSA continues to accept Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) applications with no deadline in place and while the USDA has suspended the processing of payments in order to evaluate the CFAP program, a decision from USDA is anticipated in the weeks ahead. Farmers are urged to contact their local FSA office if questions.

Olney, IL, USA / WSEI Freedom 92.9 FM | The Best Country in America Mar 6, 2021 7:13 AM (CHICAGO) The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reported 1,442 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday with 33 additional deaths. The state’s new death toll due to coronavirus-related issues is now at 20,700. The statewide positivity rate for the past seven days had dropped to 2.2 percent. There were a record number of vaccinations given statewide on Thursday, at 131,882 doses. This brings the total number of vaccinations in Illinois to just over 3.1 million.
