We dont have areas of heavy rain as you can see, just a few scattered areas of light shower activity from San Francisco, and spotty showers in the inland east bay. But there are areas of wet pavement on some of the roadways, after the santa cruz mountains. Thats basically what it is, light rainfall and pockets of isolated showers. Rainfall totals, virtually no measurable rainfall at all in the east bay. This storm is a light storm, ranks a one. Spotty, light rain lingering for a few hours. Been shooting at parked cars in the east bay. We learned Law Enforcement is investigating more than 100 cases of cars being damaged. Only on 2, ktvus amber lee live in the standard san leandro neighborhood where nine cars were shot up early today. Amber . Reporter julie, were on santiago road, the family who owns this truck tells me this back window was shot out sometime around 1 30 this morning. This is the third time one of their vehicles has been hit. The first time he actually got out and there was no laughter on his face. He wasnt having fun. He was dead serious. Reporter Surveillance Video from that first incident in january. That time the homeowner tells me it was only her and her husbands two vehicles that were targeted. Less than three weeks later, vandals driveby again, is time they dont get out of their vehicle when firing a bb gun at the familys vehicles. The second time, the vandals also shot at a handful of other cars in the neighborhood. The homeowners spoke with us on t
The wreckage is scattered in small pieces over an entire area. Officials have already recovered the flight data recorders. The jet reportedly tried to land aborted that effort circled for two more hours and was making a second attempt when it went down short of the runway. This Surveillance Video appears to show the crash of the fireball in the distance. The boeing 737 belonged to Fly Dubai Airlines with 55 passengers including four children and seven crew were on board. Fly dubai says our hearts go out to the families and friends of those involved. This is a fairly new low cost carrier that started operations in 2009. It has a good Safety Record with no previous crashes. He immediately attacked her. [ indiscernible ] the suspect hit it officer multiple times with a metal chain. The officer was hit in the head. Suffering multiple lacerations as a result of the strike from the chain. The offense the suspect continued to advance, swinging the chain at the officer. The officer fired at the suspect striking him. Reporter she witnessed the whole thing. She echoed what police said. [ speaking Foreign Language ] reporter she says the officer was knocked to her knees and bleeding from her head and she fired killing the man. The officer was defending herself but she questioned why she fired multiple shots. In the hours after the shooting upset residents and protesters turned out to be say the suspect didnt need to die. She started shooting. What happened to your taser. Senseless. Like i said, i dont think killing him was the answer. Police say the officer just had time to defend herself. We dont believe any dialogue occurred before he charged at the officer. The
