Good morning to you, less than two hours are hours ago a San Francisco judge announced John Francisco Lopez Sanchez will stand trial for the murder of kate steinle. Hes the undocumented immigration accused of 9 shooting as she talked with her father. The judge asked we not show his full face in court today, but this is what he looked like walking into a courtroom during a hearing last month. Steinhes killing ignited a debate over San Franciscos status as a sang wear city. Sanchez is a fivetime deportee. Prosecutors want to convict him of seconddegree murder, but Defense Attorneys say the shooting is accidental. We are disappointed with the decision today, but we are also pleased that we were able to present the evidence as it came out, particularly that this was a ricoch

The fbi at this point. They are the lead investigators here. Those agents arrived here early this morning on the east side of san jose. They have been packaging a lot of the merchandise inside of this home. We have heard the rolling of the tape all morning. Neighbors say theyre somewhat surprised but then again not really. Agents with the fbi are loading, leading this investigation. Theyre here with agents from the riaa that is the Recording Industry association of america. They have been packing and taping empty boxes, supposedly with that pirated music. Neighbors tell me thats what they have been doing inside the home for more than two years, pirating cds and perhaps dvds. Fbi spokeswoman in San Francisco has not gotten back to us on what theyre looking for or what they have found. We have not heard back from her. Neighbors, though, have been looking on. Theyre cleaning it out, which is good. Get the people out of there, you know. Put them where theyre supposed to be, make the street
