Area trusts join forces for Give Back to the Land Day
Community members are invited to visit www.givebacktotheland.org by midnight Thursday to learn about the work of local land trusts.

The Montague Tree Advisory Committee has drafted new regulations on town-owned trees that will come before Town Meeting voters for approval. The proposed bylaws are partly a restatement of state laws regarding publicly owned trees, but also would go a bit further in defining the role of Montague’s tree warden and the processes for planting and removing trees.
