Downtown Rocky Mount was the site of a Christmas homecoming on Friday evening. Thousands of residents packed into Franklin Street to get into the holiday spirit at Come Home to a Franklin County Christmas.
The town hosts all kinds of festivals and special events, including many great concerts throughout the year that take place at the
Harvester Performance Center. The Harvester has been voted one of the best live music venues in Virginia and regularly hosts many of your favorite bands.
In addition to live music at the Harvester, there are great community celebrations at the
Rocky Mount Farmer s Market, which is also a perfect opportunity to support local farmers, artisans, and vendors.
For outdoor recreation, there group hikes, rides, and races multiple times a year held at
Waid Park, which features a fantastic network of trails and access to the Pigg River.
