Businesses along North Main Street in Rocky Mount could soon be getting a facelift. Town council members approved plans to apply for a $1 million grant to revitalize that section of downtown.

The community is invited to two design workshops at the Depot Welcome Center in Rocky Mount on Feb. 20 and Feb. 21 at 5 p.m. The first day of the workshop will provide attendees with the opportunity to engage with the consultant team to discuss what they would like to see in a revitalization project.
