88 Energy has executed a rig contract with Nordic-Calista for the use of their Rig-2 to drill the Hickory-1 exploration well on the Alaskan North Slope. The well is designed to appraise six key reservoir targets and 647 million barrels of oil.
88 Energy has completed the interpretation of the recently licensed Franklin Bluffs 3D seismic survey data, which covers a significant area over the Icewine East leases, and has identified a location for the 1H 2023 exploration well, Hickory-1.
