Santos undertook its first drilling operations for Pikka Phase 1 in June with the powerful Parker 272 rig. In the months that followed it completed five wells, is on the sixth now, and is about to move to the seventh.

The company is focused on its Pikka Phase 1.
The Pikka Phase 1 project remains on schedule to deliver first oil in 2026 and is tracking within budget, Santos said in its fourth quarter report on Jan. 25.
As of Dec. 31, the Alaska North Slope project was 37.4% complete.
Rig operations are completed on five wells and work is underway on the sixt.
