The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, on Thursday, inaugurated 12 new Permanent Secretaries (PS) in the state.
The governor urged the newly-inaugurated secretaries to be selfless in service delivery for the development of the State.
During the inauguration, the governor charged them not to betray the trust reposed in them but work in accordance with the Civil Service rules.
Governor Ortom who noted that the Permanent Secretaries were appointed based on their career, other relevant qualification, discipline and commitment to duty, said the appointment also reflects fair representation.
Ortom revealed that the state now has a total of 23 Permanent Secretaries comprising seven from zone A, with Zone B and C having Eight each.
