understood]. and i first want to thank the mayor and the board for your strong hiv services in the city. i know we ve been coming before you a lot over the last couple years and we appreciate the ongoing support. in particular want to thank supervisors wiener and campos for your strong leadership on this issue. excuse me. i m here to speak about the need to backfill the federal cuts to hiv prevention and care. unfortunately, despite the mayor s $4 million backfill in his budget, we re still facing, as you ve heard, an additional $3.1 million this year and $4 million next year to vital care and prevention services and cuts of these magnitude will be of this magnitude will be disabling, particularly at this time of great transition with implementation of affordable care act that our community is facing. for the san francisco aids foundation, these cuts would impact our hiv prevention services for latino gay men and you ll hear from some of our folks today and also our benefit
