Loose rock fall on its own. San francisco is asking for the publics help prepping for this massive storm. The city needs people to help clear the storm drains in their neighborhoods to prevent street flooding. There are 2,300 drains throughout the city. Crews simply cannot get to all of them. Meanwhile pg e isnt wasting time gearing up for high winds, possible downed power lanes. Workers were out practicing today making repairs using utility poles at the livermore facility. These line workers will be sent out tomorrow in case theyre needed. In the north bay public works crews handed out more than 1,000 bags. Authorities set up three sandbagging stations for people to come make their own. Hundreds of people are loading up. And why a simulator is now a focal point in the investigation into the missing plane. So, is it uncommon for Airline Pilots to use or possess a Flight Simulator . Chief pilot of Pacific States aviation in concord, rashid yahya says revelations that Malaysia Airline flight 370 captain zaharie abdul sha built one in his home, doesnt automatically make him suspicious. Yahya says it could have been used soley for leisure and training. Still, shah and his copilot are under investigation. We join yahya on his simulator at Buchanan Field Airport. Where he simulates a take off. And, during the flight, yahya explains how its possible one can learn how to disable a transponder which sends signals to a radar pinpointing your location. Yahya says turning off a transponder is as simply as hitting a switch.
