The easy answer of course is that the jury is still out on how its going to go. What i tried to convey in the bookwas first , the senate has declined over a long period of time, not a couple of years, more like a couple of decades. Precise of the time that we need a strong one. All of a sudden we are facing the possibility of lets say we were facing the possibility of an inexperienced reckless, perhaps irresponsible, maybe authoritarian president. You would want a strong senate. We do not have one. The senate saved itself, changed from the downward spiral it has been on. And then step up to his responsibilities.
