Mail readers have reacted to the landmark ruling which saw justice delivered for a Barrow ex-postmistress. The Post Office accounting scandal, in which a former Bowness Road manager Isabella Wall ‘lost everything’, came to a conclusion last week as wrongly accused subpostmasters had their names cleared by the Court of Appeal. Wall, 71, was never charged with a crime, however she was embroiled in the scandal which caused her to lose her job and was declared bankrupt in 2017. Mrs Wall has called for an inquiry into the scandal and seeks further justice to hold the Post Office accountable for their failures.
