A mother whale and its calf spent hours out here in the inlet, just swimming around, wandering around. Tonight, fish and wildlife has a boat stationed out here to keep boaters away from them and everybody is hoping that the mother and the calf will swim underneath this bridge right here and back out to sea. This is a whale of a video. Debbie took this video of a 45 foot endangered north atlantic right whale in sebastian outlet today. The mother whale has an 18 foot calf with her. These tracks very similar to past hurricanes and even though they made landfall in the mid atlantic they still impacted the delaware valley. So as we continue to watch this storm, were watching latest track this is the 5 00 oclock update from the National Hurricane center. It brings the storm toward the north northwest as category three storm by saturday. That has a 115mile an hour wind. Then by the time we make it into sunday, somewhere along the outerbanks, remember, this is the cone of uncertainty, but this is 2 00 oclock sunday afternoon and then it drives it up the Chesapeake Bay this is by monday afternoon. Now we continue to see this northwesterly track pulling it further and further to the west. And that means by the time we get to the weekend, that mid atlantic landfall looks a little bit more likely at this point. That still means rain and heavy winds for us. The fire is now out behind us. In fact just a huge pile of rubble. Theres a fence that was put up over the course of the last couple of hours. But really this is turned into a personal story for the 46 firefighter it took on the scene here today. They have been very supportive of one of their own and had to again today. With up to 40 miles an hour winds this home on stow road never stood a chance. What started as a rubbish fire outside quickly took over the home and within minutes it all came down.
