Not to build housing. I want places for my kids to be able to live. I want others to enjoy what i enjoy which is housing security. Thank you. [indiscernible]. Im here to speak in support of the lot. Im personally squared when i transfer i wont be able to come back home and start a family. This is a perfect opportunity for that. What better way to have the inaugural day than starting off on the west side. Im really excited for the project and hopefully you can support it as well. Im a neighbor in this area. I dont support the project only because i dont support the height of it. Its a complete mismatch with the neighborhood. I love that were adding more Affordable Housing to the neighborhood. I think we need to consider the height of it. Most housing is two stories, this is four stories. Its a complete mismatch. Im a resident of San Francisco in d8 and a renter. I strongly support this project. I think if you look at it replacing a gas station with environmentally Family Friendly housin
Hot teams are frustrated because they dont have the rooms to offer. I think its something in closed session we can probe more, but i think its something thats important that we make sure that the boards perspective is being reflected in some of these in this Settlement Agreement and these Settlement Agreements. And, you know, obviously, we have the ability to vote something up or down, but its also to the extent that i think this is going to reoccur. This is the elephant in the room. Theres other problems that i have with the settlement, but the elephant in the room is theres several elements, and its my view as a lawyer that these lawsuits are elements to get the units because the mayor wont follow what the board of supervisors have passed, and so folks are desperate and filing lawsuits, and maybe theyll get and in the tenderloin, we got action, but we didnt get a net increase in the rooms. And i would love to see any of these resolutions in these kinds of cases have that; actually co
There are two soma c a cs. Oh, if thats the case. Okay. I think september third is enough time as well. Commissioner moore. Could you please explain why you expanded the boundaries and why are you now pulling it bac. Generally what we wan t want, i can answer that question as my role as a part of it. We dont want to stream how and where we can spend those impact fees. We might find ourselves in a situation there are projects that might otherwise be eligible that still serve soma and central soma because of these boundaries, it just allows some additional flexibility. We just want to take another look at it and make sure were articulating it correctly and present an amendment that works. It wasnt quite apparent that was the case yet. I see what youre saying. Sometimes a project that has major impact just a half a block away and i appreciate you explaining that. I would like to make a motion to schedule on or after september third with a condition that it will present to the soma c a c.
