CATSKILL â The Menâs Connect Group of Community Life Church and Anthonyâs Banquet Hall are teaming up to provide 1,000 chicken Parmesan dinners to first responders and those in need.
Sponsored by the Community Life Church and prepared by Anthonyâs Banquet Hall, the dinners will be distributed Saturday from 4-8 p.m. at Anthonyâs on Route 23B in Leeds. The meals will include salad, chicken Parmesan and spaghetti.
âOur hearts are happy to do this and we hope we can reach out and help,â Anthony Gjergji, owner of Anthonyâs Banquet Hall, said.
The dinner will benefit several local fire departments, including Leeds, West Athens, Athens and Catskill, Town of Catskill Ambulance, the Greene County Sheriffâs Office and the state police, Gjergji said.
