Former World Health Organisation epidemiologist Professor Adrian Esterman welcomes Queensland’s decision to consider the possibility of remote quarantine camps, saying it doesn’t make sense to run quarantine programs in the middle of a major city.
“Colleagues and I have been calling for this for month now,” Mr Esterman told Sky News.
“So, it really is a welcome sign that the Queensland premier has decided to at least look at this as an option. To me it makes little sense to have a quarantine station in the middle of a major city .
