The ED told the court on Friday that the life of Arpita Mukherjee is under threat. ED also said that the food and water served to her in jail must be tested.
Former West Bengal education minister Partha Chatterjee was arrested in the SSC scam case on July 23 after crores of rupees in cash, gold believed to be in kilograms and documents of properties were found at the apartments of his aide Arpita Mukherjee.
The ED had arrested Partha Chatterjee on July 23 in connection with the case of alleged irregularities in the recruitment drives by the School Service Commission (SSC).
