According to Tim Mowry, Statewide Public Information Officer, Alaska Division of Forestry Wildland Fire Program, the order was initiated Tuesday at 9 a.m. due to potential increased wildfire dangers, “and what that means is all small and large scale permitted burning is suspended due to high wildfire danger and limited firefighting resources.
