District 5 Supervisor incumbent Doug Teeter has held his seat since 2013 and has no desire to stop yet. Teeter grew up in Paradise and graduated from Paradise High School before moving away to go to college and eventually start a career but ultimately found his way back to his hometown in 2005.
The group is specifically interested in seeing if prescribed burning can be used to reduce the likelihood of widespread smoke pollution from major wildfires.
