It gives me great honor and pleasure to be here today to acknowledge two of our fare inspectors who really are just nothing short of heroes in the incident that im about to read you. On july 2, 2013 at approximately 1915 hours transit inspectors cheryl garrison and justin were on duty at powell street station and heard someone screaming from the platform. They ran to the source of the noise and discovered that a patron had fallen on to the track way in his wheelchair. The inspectors jumped onto the tracks to assist the pa
Service continued. Fare inspectors like these were truly heroic and reflect great credit upon themselves and the unit and the sfmta. The agency is proud to recognize them for their actions and i could not be prouder of them. [applause] congratulations. Ms. Garisson, the board and the entire city ask you and mr.
