And while many in the Northeast are still digging out from the heavy snowfall that storm dropped, there’s some good surf around as the storm finally exits. While the National Weather Service tries to get a handle on the first real winter storm of the season, we can be certain of one thing: the storm is going to deliver solid surf to the U.S. East Coast and the Caribbean this week and through the next. Right about now, you might be wondering, “I thought the East Coast wasn’t supposed to see nor’easters or snowstorms during a warm La Nina winter?” Well, these events can and do still happen during La Nina, they’re just less likely to. So we’re sticking to our guns.
