so to pre-suppose the leak came from the fbi or mueller s investigation, we have no way of knowing. well, if you read the story from yesterday reading between the line it is fairly clear it did not come from the fbi, it s coming from witnesses who are being approached by investigators and they re free to tell anybody they want. we have to distinguish it, mike you talk about leaks as if they re all illegal. they re not, that is the currency of washington. it s another way of describing information that is in the public s interest and right to know. i agree with you sometimes classified if somebody leaks classified information there is a law that is broken, but just leaking information, giving information to a reporter, there is nothing wrong with that. i agree with what both gentlemen have said. so you have to ask the question why is there such haste to assign the leaks to the fbi?
