AMHERST For Allison Lepine, it was all about efficiency. The path for Joanna Buoniconti was one of advocacy.
In their own ways, each graduating senior made their mark at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. For Lepine, of Chicopee, and Buoniconti, of West Springfield, it’s now time to apply those leadership skills to society at large.
To say they are ready and eager would be an understatement. They will be among 10 members of the UMass graduating class to be honored as “21st Century Leaders” at Friday’s commencement.
