Rain. It snarled plans for thousands of cruise ship passengers. The carnival paradise was supposed to arrive back at port tampa bay thursday morning. And head back out to sea thursday afternoon. The ship was finally able to clear the skyway around 730 thursday evening. It made its way back to the port around 9 30, with weary passengers on board. 10News Reporter Courtney Robinson is live at port tampa bay with more on what happens next. In. And that deadly pedestrian crash is raising more questions about high speed chases in the city. New at 10 00 we found the robbers ditched the stolen car and slipped away. Reporter a bystander shot some of the early moments of the police chase and after just a few blocks comes the chilling radio car. Ambulance, code 3 to 580, theres a victim of the chase. They hit her, she went flying. Reporter the pedestrian was a 42yearold Food Service Manager that ran several cafes at google headquarters. She died at the hospital. This house is full of her stuff, and its hard. Reporter her long time friend and roommate said she had dinner plans. Shes one of the nicest warmest people ive known. Well have mostly sunny skies today but in the meanwhile we do have visibility down especially for parts of the east bay. In the north bay youre in great shape if youre stepping out early. As we shift into the east bay, just a little, visibility in concord eight miles. No problem there. But livermore reporting visibility to about a half mile.
