Alton Brown coming to visit Hershey in 2022

Food network star and author Alton Brown will bring his “Beyond the Eats” tour to the Hershey Theatre on Feb. 23, 2022.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. April 30 and will be available online at www.HersheyEntertainment.com and www.TicketMaster.com.
Via press release, Brown said his current show features “more cooking, more comedy, more music and more potentially dangerous science stuff.”
Brown will also be making a stop at the American Music Theatre in Lancaster County on Oct. 21.
Alton Brown is best known as the host of the show “Good Eats” and as the main commentator on “Iron Chef America” and “Cutthroat Kitchen.”
New England Culinary Institute, which celebrated its 40th anniversary this year, is set to wind down and eventually close, in part due to economic challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Students, faculty and staff of the Montpelier-based culinary school were informed in an letter. In the message, seen Monday morning on the institute s website, NECI President Milan Milasinovic announced that the institute would discontinue all of its credit-bearing programs. Unfortunately, the pandemic proved to be the burden that we could not overcome, said Milasinovic in the letter.
