According to the FDA, the Directory is intended to help manufacturers, retailers, and consumers stay informed about recent developments with respect to ingredients found in dietary supplements and quickly locate information about such ingredients on the FDA’s website.
Food items routinely sold on Amtrak trains, including sandwiches, salads, snacks, yogurt and wraps, were recalled by Baltimore-based manufacturer Fresh Ideation for possible listeria contamination. The products were sold on Northeast Acela trains from Jan. 24 to Jan. 30. There have been no reported illnesses.
