COVID-19 vaccine eligibility: FDA authorizes Pfizer s booster shots for children ages 12-15

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has authorized booster shots of Pfizer-BioNTech's COVID-19 vaccine for all children ages 12-15, as well as kids ages 5-11 with underlying health conditions. The FDA also shortened the window in which eligible Americans can receive a third dose of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine from six months to five months after completing their initial vaccination regimen.
