Who doesn’t love a great doughnut? Connecticut has welcomed a bunch of new and creative shops in the past several months, so we’re revisiting some of the state’s best.

Neil’s Donuts of Wallingford, which recently opened its second Connecticut location in Middletown has been named the best doughnut in the state by Food & Wine magazine.
The “Best Doughnuts In Every State” list, released Feb. 5, honors the best fried pastries from across the country, from Boston cream and cider classics to beignets and malasadas.

There are still no rides operating at the parks, but Disneyland has announced a major new development: In March, Disney California Adventure will offer an “all new, limited-time ticketed experience” focusing on food and wine, according to a letter Disneyland President Ken Potrock sent to Cast Members, Disney’s term for its employees, on Feb. 8. That day also marked the 20th anniversary of the opening of California Adventure.
