you well know, is in part a snapshot of that moment in time and certainly police reform front of minds for so many americans after what we saw in memphis in recent week. the president touched upon it last night. tell us more. that s one of the areas we re not likely to see any real bipartisan legislation. democrats and republicans worked hard to get the george floyd justice in policing act. democrats weren t able to get republican colleagues to help them do that even though they were in the majority. even after tyre nichols death said the president said i looked to you all to do something. now i need you congress to do something more. you notice he didn t mention the george floyd justice and policing act more than one time because he knows after conversations with folks on the hill, after hearing from parents who are victims of these horrific incidents, folks aren t hanging on to that piece of
