toward the middle, end of last month. it showed extremely or very concerned about the variant. among vaccinated adults it was 54%. among unvaccinated adults, 25 %. and this might be part of the reason why these unvaccinated folks aren t getting vaccinated. because they re not afraid of getting the coronavirus, but the numbers we show they should be afraid. they should be afraid and they should be going out and getting vaccinated. right. if you re unvaccinated with this delta variant doing what it s doing, you re at high risk of getting sick and contracting the virus. what about masking? are we seeing a similar split there? that s right. if you re not going to get vaccinated, you should at least be wearing a mask. right? but what is the data showing us? the data shows us the unvaccinated folks, never wearing a mask when leaving the home, 35% of unvaccinated adults are never wearing a mask when leaving the home. my goodness gracious, what are they doing? that is significantly higher

the way that democrats should be talking about the economy. the economy came up in last week s democratic presidential debate several times. let s play some of the answers and then i would like you both to give your take on the other side. trump goes around saying the economy is doing great. you know what real inflation went up last year? 1.1%. that ain t great. the middle class is getting killed. the middle class is getting crushed. where i live, folks aren t measuring the economy by how the dow jones industrials looks. rising gdp, rising corporate profits is not being felt by millions of families across the country. basil, what do you like and what don t you like about how democrats are phrasing the message here? i liken the economy to how we talk about crime. crime may be down, but do you feel safer? the economy may be doing well
well, isn t that a shame? we need to get everybody to own things in america, and we need policy that expands stock ownership, no question about it. but, look, this means at least half of americans are benefiting from this. and by the way, when american companies do better, then they can hire leland: wages go up, etc. yeah. leland: you make an interesting point. of this half that has sort of participated in this incredible boom and this incredible bull market since 2009, and then you ve got the people who pete buttigieg was talking to on the debate stage. let s take a listen to that. where i live, folks aren t measuring the economy by how the dow jones is looking. they re measuring the economy by how they re doing. when you re doing the bills at the end of the month on your kitchen table and you find it s not nearly growing as fast as the cost of health. and the house, the biggest problem in our economy is simple, people are not getting paid enough. leland: he says people are no
