Been warning people driving into pacifica that if they dont live within five miles of the beach, they shouldnt be visiting it. But these signs are soon going to be changing. Come monday, people who live within ten miles will be allowed to visit. That means more people can be expected at San Mateo County beaches. Governor gavin newsom is closely watching beaches and parks this weekend as his office weighs fewer statewide restrictions. In pacifica, there were few people out this weekend compared to last. But Pacifica Police were again out on patrol explaining new changes coming. Youll be allowed to be at the beach if youre moving. If you are watching the kids on the water. Reporter Marcel Martins and his wife already got a visit from the beach patrol. No beach blankets, chairs, coolers, or other lounging items will be allowed.
