You are looking at live pictures of a gas leak that has prompted evacuations of a number of east bay apartment complexes. It was reported at 9 45 in richmond at the intersection of marina bay parkway and regatta boulevard. We are told a contractor there ruptured a gas main. Ther supposed to check but that didnt happen. Firefighters went door to door telling people who live at several nearby apartment complexes to evacuate. Many left with the clothes on their backs.
