Last week, two-time Olympic gold medalist Kayla Harrison smashed her way to yet another victory in the PFL. Following her victory, Harrison proclaimed herself “the baddest woman in any room she walks into” and talk immediately began to turn to fantasy matchmaking Harrison with UFC featherweight champion Amanda Nunes. However, almost as quickly as fan imaginations got revved up, UFC President Dana White threw cold water on the idea, questioning whether Harrison is ready to come to the UFC.
Well, Harrison doesn’t think much of that.
Speaking with ESPN yesterday, Harrison laughed off White’s attempts to downplay her and stated unequivocally that she was ready.

At the beginning of this month, Jiri Prochazka had a sterling sophomore appearance in the UFC, knocking out Dominick Reyes in the main event of UFC Vegas 25 with a spinning back elbow. The finish was immediately lauded as a Knockout of the Year contender and vaulted Prochazka up to third in the UFC light heavyweight rankings. But for as great a showing as it was, the former KSW light heavyweight champion was not as excited about his performance as everyone else was.
“I’m enjoying what I’m doing, the show and the movement, but my idea of fighting is to be the master of fighting,” Prochazka told RT Sport recently. “ That’s something because the true master is in a fight for (only) the time what is necessary. That was not the master with Dominick. That was a war. That was a war and I don’t like it.”

At UFC 261, former middleweight champion Chris Weidman faced Uriah Hall in a pivotal middleweight clash that Weidman hoped would put him one step closer to another title shot. Instead, tragedy struck and now Weidman is just hoping he gets to take steps again.
Just 17 seconds into the first round against Hall, Weidman threw a low kick that Hall checked, which ended up shattering Weidman’s shin in a fashion eerily reminiscent of Weidman’s own victory over Anderson Silva in their rematch. It was a gruesome sight and Weidman was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. Following the surgery, Weidman has been in pretty good spirits, updating fans on social media and even cracking the occasional joke, but Monday, Weidman gave another update to fans via Instagram. Former NFL wide receiver, Chad Johnson perhaps still better known as Chad Ochocinco all these years later will make his own journey into the boxing ring per a report from ESPN. More specifically, Johnson will be competing on the undercard of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Logan Paul event, which is scheduled to go down on June 6, 2021 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
