Goodbye
Betty Foster stepped down as the longtime Town Archivist after 22 years.
“There are so many fascinating things to discover in the archives,” she said. “Scituate has one of the most complete sets of records from Plymouth Colony. I have vital records that go back to the 1600s. I truly enjoyed finding obscure things about the town that I didn’t know, and I truly loved the people I met. I met wonderful people.”
