Kansas Baseball’s game on Saturday against Cincinnati has been canceled due to inclement weather in the Greenville area. The Jayhawks will look to makeup the game against a new opponent later in the season.
The final leg of an 11-day, eight-game road trip will wrap up this weekend when the Kansas Jayhawks play Western Carolina, Cincinnati and Michigan State in the First Pitch Invitational at Fluor Field. The Jayhawks are 3-2 through the first five games of the trip.
An adjusted 11 a.m. local time start due to expected inclement weather had no impact on the Kansas Jayhawks Wednesday as they cruised past Charleston Southern 13-1 to complete a midweek series sweep. KU hit five home runs in the contest.
