Yesterday, the person of interest in the body parts case died of drugrelated causes. The death came four days after he was released from jail. Prosecutors were unable to charge him due to lack of evidence so authorities had no choice but to release him. He became a person of interest after a security video apparently captured him near the spot where a suitcase with a torso inside wour found. Police suspect the body may be that of his friend who is missing. The medical examiner has yet to determine a cause of death. We spoke with a friend who says the last time he saw him was friday and said he maintained his innocence and asked for a sleeping bag. I look down and i said good to see him.
