Army Staff Sergeant, for his service in afghanistan in 2008. Sergeant pitts is the ninth living recipient to be awarded the medal of of honor for actions in iraq or afghanistan. This is about 20 minutes. He received his admiration for the valor, bravery and heroism he displayed in battle as a warrior. He has made his country proud and added forever to his units legacy. He is of the chosen few to receive this honor today. The nation pauses to recognize him.
