Avenue san mateo and northbound lanes from anza boulevard to broadway in burlingame. Its all because of this, this accident on friday, that knocked down highvoltage power lines. They fell right onto the freeway. Nbc bay areas Christie Smith is live in burlingame. And christie, they had to shut this road down yesterday. The shutdown tonight is apparently also needed. Reporter thats right. Pg e is saying its because they need to string up new power lines across the 1500foot span that runs right across the freeway. But you can see already they have poles in place with guide ropes and pulleys. What that will do is help move the power lines across all lines of highway 101 late tonight and overnight. Right now traffic is moving. This started friday night when according to pg e a thirdparty contractor hit a transmission tower with high voltage power lines as y lines causing it to collapse. 101 was shut down. It created major backups even onto city streets. It reopened saturday afternoon. But

So far, the fire has burned 3,243 acres. Still, 75 homes are threatened but that number is down compared to 100 homes threatened yesterday. We have ktvu team coverage.
