Ukraine will receive a $1.5 billion loan through the World Bank under its "Growth Foundations" Development Policy Loan (DPL) program, Ukraine's Finance Ministry announced on March 26.
The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine and JSC Ukrposhta signed a mortgage agreement in the amount of EUR 30 million to ensure the fulfillment of obligations under the Logistics Network (Ukrposhta Modernization and Digitalization) development project between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank (EIB), the ministry reported on Friday.
Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhiy Marchenko, together with the Ukrainian delegation, held talks with the new President of the World Bank, Ajay Banga, and Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristina Georgieva, as well as the leaders and teams of these organizations, as part of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the IMF, started in Morocco.
