Author Talk: The Gateway Arch: An Illustrated Timeline The Field House Museum is pleased to welcome author, architect, and historian John Guenther on June 16, 2023, to discuss his new book, "The Gateway Arch: An Illustrated Timeline", and St. Louis’s favorite symbol. The book takes a chronological look at the historical foundations of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, starting from St. Louis’s founding as a French colony back in 1764.
