A young toddler was shot in the leg in southeast d. C. The little girl was rushed to the hospital and is expected to be ok. The police are remaining tightlipped about this. Melissa dipane has what we know right now. Melissa the police say kids were playing with a gun when it went off and shot the little girl in the leg and apartment in the 2500 block of pomeroy road in southeast. The police say there is a lot of information to sort out. The toddler was taken to the hospital with nonlifethreatening injuries and was conscious and breathing when she was transported.
