The fire is burning on the boarder of yellow county. The smoke can be seen from napa county. No structures have been damaged. A cal fire chopper helped put out two brush fires. They were quickly approaching a Water Treatment facility. Crews managed to get the fires under control. In all, two acres were burned. Firefighters believe it could have been much worse, if not for a Quick Response from cal fire. Today we are very fortunate because the cal fire aircraft is in the air, heading to another incident, report of smoke. So they arrived on scene the same time as i did. They were here before the engines got here. They started dropping water from the helicopter, which aided in slowing the fire immensely. After the fire was out, crews spent several hours this afternoon chasing hot spots. No structures were damaged. The firefighters say they are on high alert.
