Right now, a man is recovering in the hospital after a shooting on milwaukees northwest side. Milwaukee police arent releasing many details about what led up to the shooting. We do know it happened just after 1 00 this morning near 34th and silver spring. We are told the victim is an adult male and he is recovering at froetdert this morning. Also right now, Milwaukee Police are investigating a crash near the marquette campus. The crash near 27th and wells was reported around 3 30 this morning. Our wisn 12 news crew saw one of the cars involved flipped over onto its side. Milwaukee police say no there were no serious injuries reported to them from this accident. New from overnight, a man is shot and killed near wright and palmer in milwaukee. Investigators say this happened just before 10 00 last night. At the scene. Police have not named any suspects and the investigation is ongoing. This morning, a milwaukee family is in mourning after the deaths of two 15yearold boys, cousins trey hale and Demetrius Batchelor junior. They died friday night when the car they were riding in hit a tree. This happened near 35th and keefe on milwaukees north side. Also inside the car another cousin and a brother of one of the victims. Ben mills says the 17yearold driver just got his license. Its unclear what happened in the seconds leading up to fridays crash. Investigators say speed was a factor. Later today, a visitation is being held for the two nuns the wake for sister margaret held and sister Paula Merrill will be at the church where they led a bible study. The nuns were found dead thursday after they didnt show up to work. Right now, 46yearold Rodney Earl Sanders is charged with their murder. Police say he confessed to the crime, but has not given a motive. Sister held grew up in slinger as one of eight children. She was part of the milwaukeebased School Sisters of Saint Francis. That religious community released a statement yesterday. It reads in part, we wish to offer our deepest appreciation to the Mississippi State and local Law Enforcement teams and to the many other Public Servants who have worked tirelessly the past two days. We also wish to thank the hundreds of people and organizations who offered their prayers and words of support in the wake of the sisters deaths. His mother says he is conscious and talking, but has several broken bones and burns on his body. He certainly was lucky to survive this.
