  The Take-It-Back Movement, a pro-democracy organisation, on Monday met with victims of the Oyo State Government’s circular road project.    The meeting brought to light the scale of the crisis, with 360 villages and over 5million people affected by the state government-sponsored demolition.    Comrade Juwon Sanyaolu, the National Coordinator of the Take It Back Movement, led a delegation that included Comrade Ajayi Wizeman, Comrade Femi Adeyeye, Comrade Babayomi, and Omowunmi Ewatee.

A business consultant and real estate expert, Oberiafo Udoh, has emerged winner of the African Action Congress (AAC) primary election for the forthcoming Edo State governorship.   Udoh emerged winner of the primary election held on Saturday with 90 Local government executives as ratified delegates to elect the candidate, after scoring 60 votes to defeat his closest challenger who scored 29 votes.   

AAC Demands Apology From Unfortunate Buhari, Tinubu Regime-Combination For Sowore, Bakare

The African Action Congress (AAC) has asked President Bola Tinubu’s administration to apologise to its 2023 presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore and his co-defendant, Olawale Bakare in a treason case.  SaharaReporters had reported how a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Monday struck out the treasonable felony charges against Sowore and Bakare. This followed the application of notice of discontinuance filed by the Nigerian government through the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation.
